Selecting Frequent Diagnosis on the Fee Slip
What is considered my Frequent Diagnosis List or Frequent Problems List when on the fee slip?
The ChiroSpring Fee Slip currently lists a set of diagnosis codes that are commonly used for both Chiropractic and Physical Medicine/Rehabilitation claims. The ICD-10 database includes codes that are considered specific/billable and non-specific/non-billable alike, and our check box area serves to provide codes that are already reviewed to be the most specific/billable options available. Clinics may utilize the Billing Menu > Frequent Problems List to build a list of their own commonly used diagnosis codes from the entire ICD-10 database library, which may be searchable when manually looking up a diagnosis code to add to a patient file.
On the Fee slip, you may opt to HIDE diagnosis codes from the check boxes that you don't also have added into your clinic's Frequent Problems List in your billing menu. This will serve to condense the list of check-box options. If there are diagnosis codes that you use and are listed in your Frequent Problems List that are not also in the list of check-box options on the Fee Slip, you can manually search for these at the bottom of the Diagnosis section and this list will default first to your Frequent Problems List diagnosis, but you can also optionally choose to search the entire ICD-10 database from this location as well.
