Create Payers - Add New Payers (Insurance Carriers)

Creating third party payers such as Medicare, Medicaid, BCBS, Aetna, etc. is a simple process.  

To add a Third Party Payer go to the Billing/Settings/Third Party Payers.

Once you confirm the payer is not already created click the "Add new payer" button.  

Complete the following Highlighted sections (if the section is not highlighted, please leave blank).

*Payer Name- no dashes or special characters

*Program Type- most practices choose OTHER or MEDICARE ( For Medicare part A & B only)

Once the Highlighted sections have been completed, hit the save button.

For adding a Payor ID, you must contact us at billingsupport360@chirospring.com.  We add these for you to ensure they are correct.

After the Payer has been added you may set procedure allowances by clicking "Configure" at the top right of the Third Party Payer screen.
