Waitlist Workaround

We do have some offices that have solved their waitlist needs. Here are some ideas:


Create an Appointment Category called Waitlist and create a Room called Waitlist.


For the Appt Category you will want to turn off appointment reminders and online scheduling if using for that Visit type.


You can then book them to the Waitlist Room for a Waitlist Appointment category and set it to auto recur weekly.


What this allows is your Front Desk to

  1. Schedule waitlist patients during time frame they prefer
  2. View that on their scheduler view so can contact those patients quickly when a time opens up
  3. Can also run an Appointment Lists Report and filter for Waitlist Appointment Category to run a list of your waitlist patients and if you have GrowthHub Pro can text or email directly from that report.
