How to assign a Fee Schedule to a Patient


You can now assign specific fee schedules to individual patients for non-insurance claims and procedures.

How to Assign a Fee Schedule from the Patient’s Dashboard

  1. Go to the Patient's Treatment or Billing Dashboard.
  2. Locate the Billing Information section.
  3. Select the appropriate Fee Schedule for the patient and save.

💥Important: The fee schedule amount will override the general clinic plan amount.

For example, if the General Clinic Plan is $65 and the Military Fee Schedule is $45, the system will charge $45.


Some clinics prefer to apply a write-off instead of an automatic override. To do this, enable the "Apply for non-insurance procedure charges" option in your Customization Settings. This will allow a write-off from the general clinic plan amount to match the fee schedule. For instance:

  • General Plan: $65
  • Military Fee Schedule: $45
  • Write-Off: $20
  • Patient Balance: $45

Tracking Fee Schedule Usage

You can also monitor fee schedule usage through a dedicated report:


  1. Navigate to the Reports section in your system.
  2. Look for the Fee Schedule Usage report.

This report details how often fee schedules have been applied, the charges per procedure, and write-off calculations per fee schedule. It’s a valuable tool for assessing the effectiveness of your fee schedules, tracking discounts, and ensuring all charges align with the correct pricing plan.
