Broadcast Message for Missed Appointments (No Show Appointments)
When patients miss their appointment you need an easy way to contact them. Sending a missed appointment message or link to book a new appointment can help fill your scheduler. With ChiroSpring, you can send bulk messages to patients who missed their appointment. Follow the steps below to send broadcast messages to your patients using the Patient Listing report.
Appointment Status
In order for patients to appear in the Broadcast Messenger report for missed appointments, they must be manually marked as "No Show". This does not happen automatically.
You can mark patients as "No Show" using one of two methods:
- From the Scheduler:
- Locate the patient's appointment.
- Click on the appointment.
- Change Status to "No Show".
- From the Front Desk View:
- Locate the patient.
- Update their status to "No Show" or Click & Drag them down below to "Missed or Cancelled" -(click & drag to "Missed" will automatically change their Appointment Status to "No Show")
*Now, the patients with one of these statuses will appear on the Appointment Listing Report when filtered by Date Range & Status.
Sending the Broadcast Messages
Step 1: Go to Reports > Appointment > Listing
- Using the filters at the top, choose your desired Date Range and Appointment Status (here is where you would select "No Show")
Step 2: Review the Patient List
- Confirm that all patients marked as "No Show" appear in the list.
- Make any necessary adjustments by returning to the scheduler or front desk to update patient appointment status.
Step 4: Compose and Send Your Message
- Select the patient list and use the action button at the bottom right to either Send Text or Send Email.
- If you have your Marketing Templates set up through GrowthHub, use your "No Show" Template in place of typing in a manual message - Marketing Templates.
- Send the broadcast.
