ChiroSpring Product Release 10-30-2025

This release is all about making your day run smoother, easier scheduling, cleaner communication, and a few thoughtful updates you’ll notice right away at the front desk and beyond.

Front Desk Enhancements

Appointment & Check-In Times

The Front Desk view now displays both the scheduled appointment time and the checked-in time, helping your team instantly see when patients were expected versus when they arrived. This small but mighty detail helps improve flow, accountability, and patient tracking throughout the day.

Signed vs. Unsigned Treatment Notes Filter

We’ve added a new filter for signed vs. unsigned treatment notes right from the Front Desk. No more guessing which visits still need signatures  your staff can now quickly review and ensure all documentation is complete before end-of-day.

Online Scheduler – Default Provider Setting

Clinic users can now set a default provider for online appointments. This setting is found under Scheduler & Appointments Settings - Edit Appointment

Within each appointment category, you’ll now see a field labeled “Default provider for online appointments.”

The online scheduler will display providers in the same order as your scheduler settings, and if an appointment type has only one assigned provider, that provider will automatically be selected as the default.

Blacklist Patients from Communication

Clinics can now blacklist specific patients to block unwanted or inappropriate emails and SMS messages. Once a patient is blacklisted, they can no longer contact the clinic through messaging. This update helps protect your team from spam and ensures your communication channels remain professional and secure.

Incoming Messages – Display Sender’s Phone Number

When the Head of Household is configured to receive all communications for that household, and a household member sends a text message to the clinic, the message will appear under the Head of Household’s conversation thread.

To avoid confusion, the system now includes a note showing which number the message came from.

For example:

“This message is received from 555-555-5555: Are you open tomorrow?”

If you need to find which patient the number belongs to, you can copy the number into the search bar, or click the household icon in the inbox to open that household’s account.

ERA Check Logs – Add Memo Field

Users can now add notes or memos directly within the ERA Center and ERA Report Check Logs to document important details such as reissued checks, pending funds, or communication with payers. The most recent note is displayed for quick reference, making it easier to track payment details and follow-up actions at a glance.

Pending Claims – Payer Filter

Filter now includes No Insurance - Cash claims, giving your billing team a complete and accurate view.

Household Report

A new Households Report lets you view all created households, including the head of household, member count, and member list. From here, you can adjust where appointment reminders, statements, and text messages are sent either to the household or individual members.

You can’t add members in this view, but you can open the head of household’s account in a new tab to make changes.

Other Fixes & Enhancements

Appointment Reminder Updates

When an appointment date changes, the original reminder is automatically removed to prevent duplicate or confusing messages. Patients now receive only the correct reminder for their updated time.

Online Forms – Save Button Update

We’ve updated the Save button on online forms for clearer submission behavior. Patients now see more intuitive icons and text, helping prevent confusion and accidental loss of information while completing forms.

Clinic Products Listing – Sorting Fix

Fixed an issue where products sorted by name appeared as two separate alphabetical lists. Products now sort correctly in a single continuous order.
