We're excited to introduce our new Payment Logic and Ledger experience, designed to give practices greater visibility into patient balances, flexible payment allocation options, payment buckets, improved unapplied payment handling, and new tools to help your team work more efficiently.


New Ledger Experience

The new ledger provides a more streamlined and intuitive way to view and manage patient financial information.

Payment Buckets

Payments can now be organized into dedicated buckets, making it easier to manage and track different types of patient funds.

Available payment buckets include:

  • General Payments
  • Membership Payments
  • Treatment Plan Payments

Enhanced Payment Management

Flexible Auto-Apply Options

Choose how payments are automatically applied:

  • Oldest Balance First
  • Newest Balance First
  • Highest Balance First
  • Lowest Balance First

Improved Payment Visibility

  • View original payment amounts
  • Track remaining unapplied balances
  • Better visibility into payment allocation activity
  • Improved unapplied payment management

Bulk Actions

  • Bulk Apply Payments
  • Bulk Write-Offs

Scheduled Payments

  • Dedicated Scheduled Payments view
  • Easier tracking and management of future payments

Additional Enhancements

Box 32 Override

  • Added the ability to unlock Box 32 overrides.

Improved UI Layout

  • Updated the Demographics interface with a cleaner, more intuitive layout

Ability to Inactivate Locations

  • Locations can now be marked as inactive when no longer in use.

Update to Use-it or Lose-it Memberships

  • Use it or Lose it membership plans will now end at 11:59pm (previously 12 AM) on the last day of the membership interval.

Comments added to CSV Imports

  • Imported patient Credits and Balances now include "Comments".


Resolved Issues

Orders Not Saving

  • Resolved an issue that could prevent orders from saving successfully in certain scenarios.
